Who is DRISA?
Dental Recycling International South Africa Pty. Ltd. (DRISA) was founded to further new international opportunities outlined by the Minamata Convention, which calls for the eventual phase-out or reduction of mercury used in dental amalgam, along with strategies for safer storage and disposal.Check out the complete list of requirements outlined here: DFFE Draft Mercury Regulations

A FREE Amalgam Separator unit valued at 20,000 ZAR as well as a FREE Chairside Amalgam Recycling Kit valued at 5000 ZAR with a 3-5 year signed annual amalgam recycling service agreement.
Special Service Pricing
Current special pricing for the amalgam recycling annual service if the agreement is signed by the deadline, is 7650 ZAR inclusive of recycling and transportation for the standard unit (BU10) or 12750 ZAR for the BU1030 unit and 5000 ZAR for the 10L Chairside Amalgam Recycling Kit.

Getting started with DRI-SA couldn’t be simpler. Sign up for the program through SADA by September 1st, 2025 to qualify for your FREE Amalgam Separator unit and FREE Chairside Amalgam Recycling Kit, and introductory annual service contract pricing.
